Daiwa Roynet Hotel Morioka

I had a good week-long stay primarily for work at this hotel. The spacious room offered a comfortable bed and a handy desk with an excellent leather chair for my laptop sessions. The staff was accommodating, quickly changing my room to a non-smoking one upon arrival. The convenience of the coin laundry and a well-stocked amenities bar in the lobby made my stay even more enjoyable. Plus, it was centrally located, perfect for exploring dining options nearby.

I had a great weekend at this hotel! It's super central, so I could easily walk to plenty of restaurants and sights. My room was spacious and clean, which made my stay really comfortable. I loved the eco-friendly policy where I could grab only the amenities I wanted. Plus, there were microwaves on a couple of floors-so convenient!

On the downside, there was a bit of noise from outside that was slightly annoying, but nothing too disruptive. the check-in and check-out was a bit impersonal since it was mostly done through machines. It would have been nice to have a more personal touch from the staff.

I got great value for my money with a clean, spacious room and a comfortable bed. The central location made it easy to explore local dining spots, and the staff were helpful, especially when I needed assistance with my luggage.

Breakfast offerings could include more variety in fresh fruits.

The hotel is centrally located. The breakfast with its grilled mackerel was a particular highlight.

The noise issue from nearby streets was noticeable, and the check-in process felt a bit impersonal, as it was fully automated with little staff engagement.

It's located a short walk from the station with beautiful scenery over the kitakami river. The room size was great compared to other places in japan, and the breakfast had good options, especially for those who enjoy meat and seafood.

The hotel offers easy access to Morioka Castle Park, but it's about a 15-minute walk from the train station. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean.

I enjoyed easy walks to the nearby Rock-Breaking Cherry Tree and Morioka Castle, both of which are less than a kilometer away and perfect for city strolls with beautiful views. The staff was really helpful, assisting me with my check-in and other needs during my two nights here.

Enjoyed a super clean room with a stylish bathroom, and the eco-friendly policy of choosing amenities helped reduce waste. They offered some relaxing experiences like a foot massage and a leisure room for downtime. The only hiccup was the check-in process, but it didn't ruin the enjoyable stay 😊

Loved the spacious room we had for our family, especially with two little ones. The proximity to local restaurants was great, and we had fun hiking nearby trails that offered fantastic views. The staff were warm and cute.

The assistance from staff with forwarding my luggage was fantastic. The location is a 20-minute walk from the train station but close to many dining options and city attractions. The room felt small and the card reader malfunctioned, causing disruptions throughout the night. Despite the minor complaints, the amenities, including a well-stocked lobby bar and laundry facilities, added to the comfort during my solo trip.
